MSCAA Concourse B Modernization, Memphis, TN

Complete renovation of the B Concourse at the Memphis International Airport. This 235,000 SF renovation consisted of consolidating the A & C Concourses into the B Concourse. The renovation included adding more moving walkways, widening corridors, increasing the number of boarding areas, raising existing ceilings and increasing the natural lighting. The 23-gate concourse also includes consolidating the food, beverage and retail operations for the airport.

    Nashville International Airport - Terminal Renovation and New International Arrivals Facility, Nashville, TN

    Renovation and expansion of the existing terminal lobby that includes a new state-of-the-art international arrivals facility (IAF) at the Nashville International Airport. The terminal renovation includes constructing a consolidated security screening checkpoint, concession areas and international flight gates. The IAF shall contain new Customs and Border Patrol Area. The IAF shall contain a central Marketplace concessions area with services and amenities available to both domestic and international travelers. A new high “wave” canopy roof will cover the renovated Terminal and IAF. The canopy roof will extend to Parking Garage B/C, to provide a new covered pedestrian walkway and bridge.

    Chattanooga Airport Terminal Expansion, Chattanooga, TN

    The biggest expansion in 30 years at the Chattanooga's airport will renovate 36,000 square feet and bring an additional 26,000 square feet that will include three new passenger gates, increased security lanes and more restrooms and concessions in the terminal area.

    Renasant Convention Center Renovation, Memphis, TN

    2022 Memphis Business Journal Build Memphis Award Renovation Project Award Winner
    This complete renovation of the former Cook Convention Center consisted of providing a major facelift to the facility. The renovation included several upgrades and deferred maintenance on the majority of the MEP systems. The 300,000 SF renovation includes 46 breakout rooms, 118,000-square-foot main exhibit hall that can be subdivided into three spaces, new exterior concourse/pre-function space, 28,000-square-foot ballroom, and 18,000-square-foot ballroom.

    20,000 SF new construction of a ballet company’s dance studio with spacious sun-lit studios, five dressing rooms, multiple lounges, and interior/exterior courtyards.

    Ballet Memphis, Memphis, TN

    The new headquarters of Ballet Memphis is a 38,000 sf first-class, state-of-the-art performing arts center located in Midtown Memphis. The 2-story theater facility contains four dance studios, dressing rooms, administrative offices and a café. The high-end architectural design that was implemented in this project required IES to provide creative ways of concealing the engineering systems, while maintaining energy efficiency.

    The Larry Finch Plaza on the University of Memphis campus honors a beloved local basketball player and coach.

    BCBS Splash Pad David Carnes Park Nashville, TN

    Renovation of existing nine-acre community park providing a new splash pad, rest rooms facility, playground area, 1/2 mile walking trail, athletic challenge course outdoor fitness equipment and a multi-use turf field.

    Caption by Hyatt, Memphis, TN

    The Caption by Hyatt at One Beale is the very first Caption Hotel built, not only in Memphis but the first in the world. The historic main building is home to the public spaces for the hotel and a restaurant, while the 10-story hotel has 136 rooms. Design of the hotel integrated two historical downtown Memphis buildings into its exterior façade.

    West Cancer Clinic, Germantown, TN

    100,000 square-foot facility redesign for the renovation of an existing medical office building and a 20,000 square-foot addition. The project included the unification of several medical offices into one all-encompassing cancer treatment center.This facility features MRI’s, PET Scan, CT Scan, HDR, Linac, Infusion, Radiation Therapy, Exam Rooms, Ultrasound, Flouro and Pharmacy. The design of this project is utilizing the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process, which requires communication between the owner, users, design team and contractors.The project also includes a new 70,000 square-foot parking deck.

    LeBonheur East Surgery Center, Memphis, TN

    This pediatric, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center provides wide range of procedures. Original housing a cancer center, the facility was renovated to prvide MRI scanning, radiology, fluoro imaging, physical training, sensory testing, as well as outpatient surgery.

    Le Bonheur Children's Hospital CVICU Expansion, Memphis, TN

    Four-story addition to provide most capacity to the cardiovascular and neonatal departments. The 128,000 sf expansion also provides additional beds for surgery recovery. In addition to the new 26 CVICU beds and 14 NICU beds, the project also includes a new intervention cath lab, an MRI, and relocating the blood bank.

    Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Crosstown Concourse Tenant Infill

    Methodist Healthcare combined seven departments that frequently worked together by phone into one vibrant office space for its 540 healthcare associates. The private offices open into the open-office workspace for ease of collaboration, while conference rooms open into an internal corridor to offer greater privacy and security. Open office areas and cafes are located on the perimeter, providing rejuvenating, natural light and views of the city.
